About Nepal SEEDS
Nothing exemplifies Nepal SEEDS better than the young girl at right. She lives in the small village of Sama, which has a Nepal SEEDS funded and staffed school. Her prospects are very much enhanced with the help of Nepal SEEDS.
Nepal SEEDS is the brainchild of KP Kafle and is aimed at villages in the more remote parts of Nepal. Providing leadership, training, a can do attitude, and resources gives these villages more of a sense of not just a future but also a sense of progress. It lifts one village at a time.
This young girl at right will perhaps receive an education that improves the entire village, allowing her perhaps to higher education levels that allows her to even pursue a college degree. She could come back a a nurse or a teacher. Without Nepal SEEDS she would likely be simply working in the fields.
With the many kids and adults affected in this poor country, the level of humanity is raised in a very dignified manner, as well as being a very cost effective approach. The basic model is based upon a pull from each village, where they have to justify the worth as well as their commitment.
It is with the passion of so many who have come to Nepal, some many times, that makes this possible. It is a special place, so poor and yet so hopeful.
